Meet Naturally Gorgeous Julia
Naturally Gorgeous Model Julia is a pixie of a woman, with a sparkle in her eye and ready smile. She exudes such a warmth and caring that you just know you could sit down and pour your heart out to her like a trusted maternal figure, but her twinkle clues you in that your comforting session might just end with her sharing a wickedly funny joke. But it is Julia’s thoughtfulness and caring that led her to develop The Girl Effect, whose videos we highly recommend you take the time to view.

This month’s Naturally Gorgeous, Adriana is one of those girls that appears to be lit from within. She glows with health and natural beauty. Small wonder, when she spends most of her free time outdoors. Called “Adri” for short, Adriana is the opposite of high maintenance in all areas save one – her hair. Adriana, like all of our Naturally Gorgeous models, is unretouched and photoshop free!

Alima Pure Store Profile: The Hive

Sisters Jen Cortez and Becca Bighley opened The Hive in 2011 on NE Lowry Avenue in Minneapolis. They had a vision of “the open-air vibe of old-school beauty parlors; a cheery interior, a variety of magazines for inspiration, hot coffee and teas, outgoing individuals, and amazing hair care products.” In February of this year, they brought in Alima Pure to complete their product line-up.
Meet Naturally Gorgeous Logan
When you first meet someone who is blessed with a willowy figure and long, naturally blonde hair (not to mention the fleeting but powerful possession of youth), it may be difficult to tame your internal green-eyed monster. However, meeting our April Naturally Gorgeous model quickly turns the monster into a purring kitten. Logan meets the world with humbleness and warmth, and after just a short time in her company, you just know…this is a young woman guided by her heart. Her love of family and animals and her wish to be with loved ones whenever possible, combined with her stunning appearance, make Logan truly Naturally Gorgeous.
AP: What do you do for a living?
LG: I currently work in childcare and am in the process of pursuing a career within the field of Occupational Therapy.
AP: What do you do for fun?
LG: I like to go on adventures that have no true destination. When the weather is nice I like to be outdoors at all times, preferably near any body of water. I have the most fun when I am surrounded by the people I love; when that is the case I am happy doing anything.

Alima Pure Store Profile: Green and Greener
If you live in the Los Angeles area and want to see Alima Pure products in person, Green and Greener is the place to go! Owner Alegre Ramos has a wonderful selection of Alima as well as other eco-friendly brands to delight anyone who is trying to live more green!
Can you tell us a little about your background and past experience?
Before starting Green and Greener, I was the Operations and Marketing Director for a luxury “shelter” company. We manufactured high-end bedding, furniture and home accessories here in Los Angeles. While there I fell in love with the design process and decided to go back to school to study interior design. In order to have enough time to go to school, I took a job with less responsibility but within an industry that I was passionate about and was responsible for the marketing of a number of public radio programs and specialized in their environmental programming. It was during the time I studied interior design that I met my mentor, a well-regarded environmental architect, and decided that my emphasis in interior design would be to practice interior design by applying the LEED principles to all my projects (LEED is the environmental design/build standard created by the US Green Building Council).

Meet Naturally Gorgeous model Regina Ellis
What can you say about someone who takes their personal tragedy and turns it into a way to help others? Someone who deals with their own grief by finding a way to ease the road for those that are dealt a similar, devastating hand? We think you could say she is fiercely loving. Or maybe bravely compassionate. Definitely Naturally Gorgeous!
This month’s Naturally Gorgeous model is Regina Ellis, founder and CEO of Children’s Cancer Association (CCA). CCA was founded in Portland, Oregon in 1995, by the Ellis family after their daughter Alexandra died from cancer. Meet Naturally Gorgeous model Nicolle Camarata
If you live in Portland and listen to 97.1 Charlie FM in the mornings, you probably already feel like you know our latest Naturally Gorgeous Model Nicolle Camarata, as she is the host of “Mornings with Nicolle Camarata from 6-9am.” That’s one of the beautiful things about Nicolle… her bubbly personality (which we think comes across on the radio and in a photo almost as well as it does in person) makes everyone feel like a BFF.
AP: What is your favorite part of your job?
NC: Making new friends! People come up to me all the time and say how something I did made them laugh, or gave them good advice, and you feel like you just made a new friend. Mornings have always been my favorite day-part because you have a chance to cheer people on at the start of their day.
